أجرى الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد جلسة مباحثات مع الرئيس الإيراني إبراهيم رئيسي قبيل مغادرته دمشق في ختام زيارته إلى سورية على رأس وفد وزاري رفيع.

وشدد الرئيسان في مباحثاتهما على تفعيل كل التفاهمات والمقترحات التي تمت مناقشتها خلال الزيارة ووضعها موضع التنفيذ بما يخدم العلاقة بين البلدين والشعبين، كما شددا على استمرار التنسيق والتشاور في مختلف المجالات.

وناقش الرئيسان الخطوات الاقتصادية التي سيتم العمل فيها خلال المرحلة المقبلة في مجال محطات الكهرباء والطاقة والسياحة والمشاريع الاستثمارية المشتركة، وتسريع الإجراءات الثنائية المطلوبة لتأسيس مصرف مشترك بهدف تسهيل التبادل التجاري.
