اعلنت لاعبة التنس الروسية ​ماريا شارابوفا​ المصنفة الأولى على العالم سابقا أنها حامل بطفلها الأول.

وشاركت اللاعبة الروسية الفائزة بخمسة ألقاب للبطولات الأربع الكبرى والتي اعتزلت عام 2020 الخبر عبر حسابها على إنستغرام الذي يضم 4.2 مليون متابع مستغلة الاحتفال بعيد ميلادها الخامس والثلاثين .

ونشرت اللاعبة صورة لها وهي حامل وهي تقف على الشاطئ مبتسمة وقالت “بدايات ثمينة !!! لطالما كنت متخصصة في تناول كعكة عيد الميلاد لشخصين».

وفي كانون الاول/ديسمبر كشفت شارابوفا عن خطبتها مع رجل الأعمال البريطاني ألكسندر جيلكس .
