زار الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد وعقيلته السيدة أسماء الأسد اليوم الأحد، دير سيدة صيدنايا بريف دمشق، حسب بيان عن الرئاسة السورية.

وهنأ الأسد وعقيلته الأهالي في المنطقة والراهبات وأيتام الدير بعيد الفصح.

وأشارت الرئاسة السورية إلى أن الأسد وقرينته زارا كذلك متحف كنيسة آجيا صوفيا، حيث اطلعا على المخطوطات والأيقونات التاريخية التي يحتويها المتحف.
