على هامش الفوز الكبير لمانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي على بايرن ميونيخ الألماني، نجح النجم النرويجي إيرلنغ هالاند في تسجيل رقم قياسي جديد باسمه.

وفاز سيتي على ضيفه بايرن في ذهاب ربع نهائي دوري أبطال أوروبا بثلاثية نظيفة، وكالعادة ترك هالاند بصمته بالهدف الثالث لفريقه.

وبالتالي رفع هالاند رصيده إلى 45 هدفا هذا الموسم في جميع المسابقات.

وبهذا الإنجاز، سجل صاروخ النرويج رقما قياسيا من حيث عدد الأهداف في موسم واحد للاعب بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، متقدما على المصري محمد صلاح مهاجم ليفربول والهولندي المعتزل رود فان نستلروي نجم مانشستر يونايتد السابق (44 هدفا لكل منهما).
